Here's why you should regularly service your trailer:

Trailers often have a hard life carrying weight and breaking. Not only should you maintain your trailer and electrical components but also your tyres. We recommend that you follow the checklist below once a week as trailer maintenance is very important.

• Check your tyres' tread (the legal limit is 1.6mm)

• Check chassis for rust (if you have had a chassis rust proofing, this is not necessary)

• Check all lights

• Check for exposed wire (this can cause shorting out issues)
